Jennie began her career in the restaurant industry as a chef and manager in Delaware. She then moved to New Zealand to work as a Head Chef. Jennie was asked to oversee the construction of a new kitchen and café in her first week on the job. Jennie also managed the grand opening which coincidentally was on the same day as the Lord of the Rings premiere across the street!
Upon returning to the US, Jennie left the restaurant industry and began working for a local startup called FineStationery.com. As the Senior Merchandising Specialist, she managed over 100,000 products from more than 100 brands. Jennie initiated the Project Management Office for FineStationery.com and moved from the Merchandising department to IT as the Project Manager for the website. Jennie was responsible for the implementation of process improvement initiatives and quality controls across all departments.
Jennie earned associate degrees in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management from Delaware Technical Community College as well as a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Wilmington University.
In her spare time, Jennie enjoys cooking, baking, and doing a variety of crafts such as crocheting and making jewelry. She has traveled to more than 20 countries so far and hopes to visit many more.
